Piano and Voice

I have always loved music. I have been involved with piano since I was 6 years old, play guitar in my free time ,and have been in my school’s choir throughout middle school and high school.I am finishing out my 2nd year at Arizona State University, studying music therapy, and have been teaching with Traveling Lessons for 2 years. I am looking forward to learning more about music and to expand my love for the piano.

Piano and Violin

I started playing piano at the age of 5, many years later, I had the amazing privilege of performing on stage at ASU Gammage. By the age of 12, I attended NAU’s music camp for 2 years for piano performance, which started my passion for competing in state competitions. By the age of 14 I played piano for the National Junior Honor Society and received a presidential award for academic scholars. Shortly after entering high school, I auditioned for the schools choir and ended up becoming the pianist over the next 4 years. A few years later, I had not only completed in many state competitions, but was actively competing in youth Olympics for my church and won numerous 1st place awards. Toward the end of my high school years, I had finally decided to pursue a degree in Piano Performance at NAU and quickly started classes the summer of my graduation year. Over the years, I transferred my knowledge and passion and began teaching piano in my spare time, and have taught so many amazing students and fell in love with teaching. To this day, I continue to share my love of music by volunteering to play piano for church and teaching my own family to love and appreciate music.
