There is a one-time per family registration fee of $25, which goes toward teacher supplies and recital fees.
Students under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian home for the entire duration of the lesson.
Monthly payments are due by the 1st of the month.
Payments are processed via online invoice using credit, debit, or PayPal. Check payment is accepted, but must be received no later than the 1st of the month. Checks should be made out to Traveling Music Lessons LLC and mailed to our office address.
There is a $10 late fee added to any account that is more than 1 week past due; student accounts more than 3 weeks past due are subject to lesson suspension.
There are no lessons scheduled on the following observed holidays:
- Memorial Day
- 4th of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Weekend
- 2 Week Winter Break (dates announced during the fall semester)
Tuition is the same each month during the fall and spring sessions; therefore, payments will not be adjusted for 5 week months or shortened months due to observed holidays. Summer session runs through June and July and lessons can be prorated during this time to accommodate vacation schedules. Traveling Lessons will not offer makeup lessons or credits for missed lessons during spring or fall break.
There is a 24 hour lesson cancelation policy. Any last minute cancelations will not be eligible for a makeup lesson. Makeup lessons are subject to teacher availability.
Traveling Lessons values and respects each teacher / student relationship, and therefore, strives to maintain the same instructor for each student. Due to constant schedule changes, teacher availability, and teacher resignation, some students will receive a teacher reassignment. Please understand that our team takes great care when matching a student with one of our instructors, and each one of our team members is highly trained and offers a unique approach. Additionally, if at any time a student is unhappy with their instructor, Traveling Lessons will make an immediate change.
Per instructor contract, teachers of Traveling Lessons are not legally permitted to teach current or former students of Traveling Lessons within 6 months of leaving our studio.
